PBA LEGAL LLP ADVOCATES

The founding partners of PBA Legal LLP trace their lineage to Late Mr. B.R. Agarwala, a leading barrister and author, who began his practice in the Supreme Court of India in 1959. In 2018, they combined their individual practices to incorporate PBA Legal LLP under the aegis of Mr. Pramod B. Agarwala.

The firm is based in Delhi and specialises in dispute resolution practice, primarily focusing on litigation, arbitration and advising clients on legal and regulatory aspects of Indian law.

PRAMOD B. AGARWALA SENIOR PARTNER
B.Sc, LL.B.

​Mr. Pramod B. Agarwala completed his LL.B. from Government Law College, Mumbai, and has been in practice since 1975. He was a partner at a reputed firm of solicitors and advocates at New Delhi for over a period of 10 years from 1982 to 1993.

In his long career spanning more than four and a half decades, he has extensively practiced before the Supreme Court of India (where he is also registered as an Advocate on  Record since 1982), the High Court of Delhi, the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission, the Competition Commission of India and the Competition Appellate Tribunal, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, and has been advising various banks, corporate clients and individuals on varied subjects of civil and commercial law.

Mr. Agarwala also has an active arbitration practice and has been appointed by the High Court of Delhi to act as a sole arbitrator in a number of arbitral disputes.

ANUJ P. AGARWALA PARTNER
LL.B, LL.M (Penn Law)

​Anuj advises clients, and works upon matters relating to Company Law, Alternate Dispute Resolution, Commercial Contracts, Intellectual Property and various civil and criminal laws.

Anuj has been a practicing lawyer since the year 2011. Pursuant to completing L.L.B from Amity University, Anuj obtained a master’s degree in law from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in the year 2014.

Anuj has extensive work experience in the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi and the High Court of Bombay, in addition to various other tribunals. He also handles arbitration matters and is regularly engaged to assist in both domestic and international arbitrations presided over by a retired chief justice of India and other senior judges.

AAYUSH AGARWALA PARTNER
BFIA, LL.B. (DU),
LL.M (Cambridge)

​Aayush holds a bachelor’s degree in financial & investment analysis (BFIA) from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi University and studied law at Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, Delhi University.

Pursuant to his enrolment with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2012, Aayush has worked as a judicial clerk at the High Court of Delhi and in the chambers of a senior advocate practicing in the Supreme Court of India.

Aayush completed his degree in master’s in law (LLM) in 2016 from the University of Cambridge with a specialization in commercial laws. He is regularly engaged to appear as a counsel before the Supreme Court of India (where he is also registered as an Advocate on Record), the High Court of Delhi, the National Company Law Tribunals and at its Appellate Tribunal at Delhi. Aayush also represents clients in both domestic and international commercial arbitrations.
